Baxterbear helps out at Sainsburys

Baxterbear was TREEKLED to be invited to help out with the re-opening of sainsburys at Hedge End, Southampton on the 9th May 2012.
Wayne Island the Mayor of the Borough of Eastleigh cut the ribbon. Simon Clarke, a DJ from Wave 105 was there as well to help Baxterbear raise funds for Wave 105's charity Cash for Kids.

Tartan Day Parade New York 2012

Baxterbear was TREEKLED to be invited to take part in the world famous Tartan Day Parade by The American - Scottish Foundation on Saturday, April 14, 2012, Baxterbear was TREEKLED by the good luck everyone had because of the wonderful weather, not a rain cloud in sight. Baxterbear was TREEKLED to discover new friend Brian Cox was the new Grand Marshal of the Tartan Day Parade, formally Sean Connery, Baxterbear has followed Brain Cox a Scottish actors career over the years and will continue to do so.

Baxterbear Arrives In the Big Apple

On arriving in New York Baxterbear was GASPERATED to discover that there was no “Big Apple”, as you can imagine Baxterbear was CONFUDDLED as he had always heard that New York was the “Big Apple” and has simply assumed that there was a Big Apple probably in Central Park or Times Square, after a lot investigations, Yes that included talking the largest population in New York our feathered friends the Pigeons. Baxterbear was TREEKLED to learn that the nickname “Big Apple” came from the early 1920s, when "apple" was used in reference to the many racing courses in and around New York City.

Baxterbear TREEKLED to have helped Sports Relief

Baxterbear had a great weekend at Sainsbury's in Hedge End, Southampton helping raise money for Sports Relief.

There were lots of great events going on but Baterbears favorite was the Cup Cake Stand...the aim was to sell 300 home made cup cakes to raise £300 the demand was that high that another 100 had to be made, Baxterbear made sure he had the last one...

Baxterbear also helped out by doing his mile on the excersise bike, along with many of the staff and customers.

Happy Birthday Baxterbear

Baxterbear springs a surprise! Everyone who belongs to the World of Baxterbear knows he likes surprises. This is his biggest one yet. Today Baxterbear is TREEKLED because it is 29th February and it’s his birthday but it’s not just any birthday. Today he is 21 – or 84 depending on how you look at it and he’s CONFUDDLED because he doesn’t know which to celebrate. Either way he is an ageless bear! And the surprise? It is such a very SPECIAL birthday he has decided to celebrate both birthdays over a couple of days later in the year.

Making a Difference in Iraq

The US Military were TREEKLED by Baxterbear hard work helping communications between the Children of Iraq and US Peace keeping forces.

Baxterbear met a number of service personnel at Camp Liberty PX. Most were going to send Baxterbears home to thier families but some soldiers were putting them in thier rooms. TREEKLED to be making a difference......

Baxterbear sells in another location in US

Baxterbear is TREEKLED to announce that today is the opening of Revolutio, a boutique in Tucson AZ, US that carries a variety of international and national goods. Most of the merchandise supports good causes like Baxterbear, The Teddy bear Ambassador for helping those in need.

Chicago, where I was at the time. He lifted my spirits and made a difference which is why I too want to sell Baxterbear's and help make a difference, so he can do the same for others"

Alan Pardew invites Baxterbear to Training

Baxterbear was TREEKLED to meet Alan Pardew, Manager of the Newcastle United Football Team at the opening of the New Clubhouse. Alan had heard that Baxterbear had been making a difference to local people by working with Whickham Rotary Club and wanted to meet him. Alan Pardew, has invited Baxterbear to come along and train with the Newcastle United Football Team.

Alan Scott Pardew is an English football manager and former player, currently the manager of Newcastle United.
